We check your website every week, and tell you when anything changes.

Your website and your email. We send a link to confirm it is you, and nothing more until you open it.

We email you a link to confirm first, and nothing else until you open it. Your email is used for these alerts and nothing else. Privacy.

How it works

Three steps, and nothing for you to install or log into.

  1. 1

    Confirm it is you

We email you a link. Nothing more is sent until you open it, so nobody can sign up an address that isn't theirs. Opening it runs the first check there and then.

  2. 2

    We check every week

The same check as our free website checker: your home page as a visitor and a search engine see it, and on a WordPress site the lists of pages and users it publishes.

  3. 3

    You hear when it changes

An email the day a check finds a change, with the exact place on your own site. When nothing has changed, a short all-clear every four weeks.

What counts as a change

We compare each week's check with the last one, and email you when any of these appears.

  • Signs of a break-in Hidden spam text on your home page, or links slipped in to someone else's site.
  • A page that reads like spam A page on your own domain that is built for spam rather than for your business.
  • Usernames on show Your site starts publishing the usernames of its accounts, which are half of a login.
  • The address changes hands It no longer serves your business. We say exactly that, and never call it a hack.
  • Back to clean After a problem, the first week your site reads clean again.

If we cannot read your site three weeks running, we tell you once, then wait until it answers. A site we cannot read is never called clean.

Something changed

This week's check found a page on example.co.uk that reads like spam.

There is a page on your own domain whose title reads as if it was built for fake designer goods rather than for your business. A search engine can reach it.

The place we read it, which you can open yourselfhttps://example.co.uk/cheap-designer-watches

What to do next. Our Emergency Clean-Up removes it for £495, or reply and talk it through with a person.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No card, no account and nothing to install. It is the free website check anyone can run on our site, run again for you every week.

What do you check?

Your home page as any visitor and a search engine see it, and, on a WordPress site, the lists of pages and users it publishes. We log into nothing and change nothing on your site.

How often will you email me?

Only when a check finds a change, and never more than once a day. When nothing has changed, a short all-clear every four weeks. If we cannot read your site three weeks running, we tell you once.

Why do I have to confirm my email?

So nobody can sign up an address that isn't theirs. Until the link we send is opened, nothing else is sent to it.

How do I stop the alerts?

Every email has a Stop these alerts link at the foot. Open it and they stop, with nothing else to do.

Can I have alerts for more than one website?

Yes. Sign up once for each website, with the same email if you like.

How is this different from AI Secure Care?

Free alerts are our check of your public pages once a week, and an email when something changes. AI Secure Care, from £49 a month, is round-the-clock monitoring, a daily scan, off-site backups and, on Shield and Fortress, fixes.

What happens if you find something?

We email you what we found, with the exact place on your own site to open yourself, and what it takes to put right. You decide what to do: our Emergency Clean-Up is £495, or reply and talk it through with a person.

Hear about it the week it happens.

Free, every week, with the proof. Stop any time.
